We need to fold the money for our grandfather and great grandparents, so its really hard work. The amazing thing now is year after year, the paper toys we're burning are getting more and more high-tech. There were psp, handphones, pda, video player etc. All their brand names are common : Hell! We have World Bank, so their notes are all from THE OTHER World Bank. Its really amusing just to see those stuff. Its the countryside wind, not something you can find in spore. The highlight of saturday was the visit to the kampong stream, or sungei as all of us call it. Its now part of our childhood, like it was during my dad's. The spot where they used to dive into the stream, like 40 years ago? Try diving into it now, and see how deep ur head gets buried.
Then on sunday, qingming day itself, after the tomb sweeping at the Hokkien cemetery[ no photos. You know why] we 'asked' ah gong to go home and eat! That's my biggest uncle! But im not sure if he hold the title of having the biggest stomach! He's a hardcore gambling addict, but he's also our closest uncle. He asked my bro to check out the numbers on the tombs. Only idiots dunno what's gonna happen next! Labels: for bu gang |
