Day 26
This is the third time we've been to Xi'an.

Slacking at coffeebean before deciding on what to do next. Shooting pearls at the air-con.

I dunnoe why they put ice in urinals

We went to this japanese restaurant where we had a chef to cook for us.

Orange juice to dilute the beer.

The beef roll with assorted veggie in it is the best damn thing on earth. Below, She's in the process of doing another roll.

The bell tower at night.

Day 27
4th and final time going to Xi'an city. Getting alitte sick of the place. Go to a place, other than HOME, too many times and it'll lose its charm. Love the crowd, food and high level of excitement there though.
Believe or not, this is my first time eating Bim Bim Bap. And in china.

Small Pagoda. Very costly entrance fee, and we didnt go in. So we just took photos with the
pai
The place to ascend the city wall. I forgot what its called.

Chinese is really really patriotic.

Got my ticket! 20yuan student half price entrance fee and a further 20yuan for bike rental. SP student card is usuable worldwide eh.

Requirement for this job: Have a Stone face and just stone there.

Beijing has the Great Wall, we in Xi'an has our own breath-taking wall too.

Straight ahead is the bell tower. The bell tower is roughly in the middle of the city wall, so times 2 the distance to the bell tower from here, you'll get the opposite side of the wall.

20km of cobblestones on a crap bike. Full body workout guaranteed.

The bike gang.

The historical, the new, and the sexy.

At one of the 4 corners of the city wall.

Train station is nearby. Take away the buses, add more people and this could pull off as Shinjuku Crossing.

This is the water fountain, in front of the Big Pagoda. You stand right within the display and there's some 80's china-inspired getai music playing along with the water display. Very funny feeling to have. Makes me feel like im in heaven.
The water display comes on every hour or so, and it gathers quite a crowd.

This is the super duper crowded and shiok Da Tang Fu Rong Yuan. That day we went, they had a food fest, hence the fierce crowd.

First place in china to sell Or Jian. Very costly though, a small plate for RMB 15.

Fishes done this way are d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!

Soft shell crab. Very nice, they sell the whole crab.
Fried durian. Not bad, for a change with goreng pisang.

Tarantula for sale as food. RMB 100.

I've tamed this small beast of a scorpion.

Centipede tastes like it has alot and alot of poison in it.

Whole sotong for sale. We couldn't finish it of course. Gets very nee after awhile.

The next photo might be disgusting and unpleasant to some of you. BUT TOO BAD. You have to see it no matter what. 98% of toilets in china have shit remaining in the toilet bowls. A practice?

A lovely and huge sprawling park near the main city area. The taxi driver brought us here to see the place only, cos we were heading back to yanliang.

Wedding

One of my many biaoge invited us for his wedding dinner @ Grand Straits Garden Seafood Restaurant, the most popular seafood restaurant in Johor Bahru, was created to offer guests a sensual trip through the cuisines. So claims the website. But to an extent it's quite true. The atmosphere there is nice, the seafood is very fresh and the only thing Im not sure, also the most important one, is the price of the dishes.

Lunch at my ahyee's place was already a big spread.

Bride and groom makes their grand entrance.

So many photographers around..

and I still managed to get the bride's attention! (apparently the wedding photographer's too)

Appetizer.

My closest Ahyee and Yizhang. Noob Bro trying to mimic the pro photographer, hence the reaction.

The ever-so-hip fifth uncle of mine.
Cute cousin of mine.

Mom never fails to close her eyes when we take photos

Does he look like me?

Nothing gets away from my grasp, including you, waitressss.

My third uncle who still resides in our kampong.

We jumped on stage and drank the champagne.

Bye-bye, going home.

Day 21
This is the second time we are going to Xi'an city.
Huge mooncake on display at a shopping centre. Mooncake festival is still before us at this point of time.

The bell tower that is located centrally within the city walls.

Some historical building

National day is also before us at day 21.

The bustling Muslim Street.

All kinds of unappetizing meat except pork outside a muslim restaurant.

This looks exactly like Chai Tau Kueh, but it isnt.

This looks like prata with options to add meat, but for the prata part, it isnt.

Smoking is cheap and widely 'practiced' in China.

Cute man selling some cake which we bought. Not bad tasting.

Day 22

On the day we went to Yanliang Park, we saw this long stretch of empty, unwinding road. So we targeted this place to have it explored. Here we have it.

This is pear, I think. The 'This is Poisonous' sign is just to scare off potential thieves.

Jumpshot went wrong.

Taken from a bridge which we had to cycle UP quite a distance. Only I made it to the top.

View outside our hotel.

Interaction with our form teacher's students.

Day 23

A normal boring day in school.

Day 25
Some days the weather is misty, some days sunny.

Yu Siang Rou Shi in a different variation.

Emo-ing when he couldn't remember what he said at the accident site.
