This Timbuk2 classic messenger ballistic fabric bag is now mine! I've been eyeing this for some time but wasnt really pursueing it until recently, when i realised I need a hand bag for china too! This bag costs SGD148, which shocked my mom, but Im gonna use it for several purposes. Im gonna use it in china as my right hand bag as i tour the vast chinese lands, for cycling(this bag has cycling roots), and I need a new bag for school! So thats three bags in one.
Today mechanics exam is over and next up is maths, which is shit!

Yesterday, with the help of my sister who was surprisingly kind and helpful, and without my parents permission, I DROVE the GTI for some 20 minutes, going to 2 places. She came to my school and I drove the car. It was the best feeling. My god, this GTi is worlds apart from the Toyota Vios I was driving during my Learner's time. The nimbleness, responsiveness, feel of the car is just fantastic! This car is really quite powerful; step on it and the car goes off the block instantly. No wonder my dad is reluctant to let me be behind the wheel of this car. Young Blood.
Then last night the car was parked at the top deck of the multi-storey, and my mom wants to drive it down to the lower deck for safety and convenience purposes, and I told her I'll drive it for her! So I drove it down and parked it too. Not as fun as yesterday, but its the second step to be able to drive the car independently.

Its been a while since i last blogged already. Blogger is still experiencing some shit. Exams are coming and Im mugging hard! 4 days after the last paper on the 2nd sept, I'll be going to Xi'an in china for attachment for 6 weeks. It will be the longest period im away from home, so lets see how i'll adapt to it.
Anyway last wednesday was my motorbike Traffic Police Test and I passed it! 12 demerit points out of maximum 18. Then 3 days later on saturday, I had my motorcar Traffic Police Test and I passed it too! 4 points out of a maximum 20 this time and im damn proud of it! That's because I've only been to the circuit for a total of 2 hours only before I took the test and not to mention the instructor left out some important actions that I have to take note of. For eg, no turning of wheels while stationary during parking. I had to find it out myself but no one's complaining now.

In all, I spent SGD705 for motorbike and SGD 877 for car. On average motorcar one will probably spend about a thousand to a thousand half in total, but yeahh(!) Im not even close to hitting a thousand.

So happily I went home, thinking I'll be able to drive or ride anytime soon. But it was not to be. My dad says the car(Golf GTI) that's available for me to drive is too POWERFUL. "P-O-W-E-R-F-U-L". So I've got to take it one step at a time, slowly get used to the transition from Learner to on-the-road-without-instructor-driving-a-fast-car. Let's see how it goes but its a no-brainer I want to drive and ride soon!
