Yesterday uncle called in the evening and told us they were celebrating my cousin's birthday beforehand at Manhatten Fish Market and invited us too.

Woohoo, another treat in a restaurant! That's what i'm talking about man; good food, good ambience and good family time. Too bad all these treating at restaurants can only be done by my uncles, aunties and working cousins. Because my dad is a super boring and anti-social person. After my uncle called yesterday, my dad said he doesn't want to go and so my mom cooked MAGGI MEE for him and then we left. He rather eat maggi mee than eat good fresh fish from Manhatten Fish Market. See how lame one person can get?
Sometimes I feel awkward, you know, everyone in uncle's family is treating us to good expensive every other month and my dad, on the other hand, never returned the treat before.

The food was nice but because they ordered mostly fried seafood, we got sick of it fast. However the 'award-winning' flaming prawns were damn bloody yummy and only 1 platter had 4 pieces of it. Total cost? Rm210 after 10% discount.

Rewind one week and a half: on the 16th of April, we celebrated the birthday of our one year old 'homemade' puppies. Birthday cake? Homemade muffins! They even ate the paper cup up.

Recently I've been finding it tiresome to blog because im lazy and im busy too, school life is getting busy. hence the sparse posts.
Anyway, this school year we are starting to touch alot on aircraft stuff already (finally) and today we did some aircraft plumbing in practical. Basically we have to inspect the pipes, make sure it isn't clogged, there's no wear and the bolts and nuts are fastened in place.
To inspect our work, the lecturer came to our apparatus, applied some bubble soap on the joints and intersection and inserted an air gun into the pipeline. Instantly there was a loud leaking sound of air and bubbles start forming at the joints. MAJOR LEAKAGE! Straight away he dedected 10 marks. A leakage is a very serious problem, he starts explaining, no matter how major or minor.
So I guess wad we can be expecting for our practicals. The lectuters will be damn strict with us because we can ill afford mistakes in our line.
Tomorrow I'll have my second motorbike 5.02 course assessment( yea i failed my 1st one with 2 immediate failures) so hope i pass!

Yesterday I just came back from a MM 6day5night camp, one day spent in school and the rest on St John Island. The camp was a tad boring because there were supposed to be 100 freshies coming in, but only 40plus came. And there were only 4 freshie girls. Even the female helpers outnumber them. But it was still a nice experience for me. Come low tide we picked crabs, played games, scared the balls out of the freshies during the nightwalk and made alot of friends(girls esp=D).
My role there was being a helper and the job was quite slack and thats what I like! I paid 5 dollars to go to St John Island(ferry ride worth 15SGD included), have my 5 days of 3 meals covered and slack and play around. During this tough times, that really sounds like there is free lunch in the world.

Anyway tomorrow I'll have my 1st driving lesson! Damn I cant wait to drive man. I've been waiting for this day for a very long time.
