Staying over in Singapore this weekend to prepare for my upcoming semestral exams. Alone with bro at home, we ordered Canadian Pizza delivery. For some reason, this is the first time im eating Canadian Pizza. I've obviously heard of them, and even more about their 2 for 1 pizza deal, but until I bought it I didnt know what a great promotion this is! SGD22.90 for 2 10" pizzas. In malaysia this is maybe be slightly expensive, but you cant, and shouldnt convert it this way. For dinner just now, we wiped out 1 pizza, so that leaves us with another for tmr's breakfast and lunch.

First of all, Happy Lunar New Year to all! It's a new year, it's a tiger year and we should all start a new year afresh. As with traditions, our 3-man party from JB made our way back to Melaka on the eve on LNY. Be it long haul or short haul journeys, I've relieved my mom of her driving duties. So this time, I drove back too. Mom has to save energy for the reunion dinner preps right. Everyone's on the move, especially malaysians working in singapore, so North-South Highway was packed with cars. At one point the heavy traffic even stopped completely!
To summarise it, this is what we did over the few days in chrono order:
Day 0
ingredients prep > reunion dinner > 2nd reunion dinner for laoyi's extended family > Countdown @ Jonker Walk
Day 1
Ang pao collecting session > LaoBerKu home visit > Laokor home visit > praying at melaka's most famous temple named ??? > Pahlawan Mega mall > A'Farmosa fort > home > Eryi home visit and her traditional niangao making > Fun with cousins @ Home: Mahjong, Musical chair, games
Day 2
Visit to Sanyi @ Machap Umboo. The drive that I executed my first and many overtaking 2 lane 2 way kampong roads > Almost 3/4 gone to visit in-laws > Laoyi home (and farm) visit > home visit to Mom's best friend 30 years ago > Fire cracker crazy time
Day 3
Breakfast > Home sweet home. First time we stayed over for ChuEr because of favourable holiday timing.
