Today after school we went to Bugis, and for the 1st time ventured into arab street/haji lane area. then makan at Restoran Zam Zam @ North Bridge Road. Next time round I must bring my camera and return at night, where according to them, comes alive at night. Then walk ard bugis street, something which i highly do not recommend under such humid and insanely 'heaty' weathers.
Sick of all my bought-fitting-but-surely-expand-2-sizes bermudas, I was looking for a slim n sexy SIZE28 bermudas, but I wasnt really putting in the effort to find, reason being I bought a new 3/4 sleeve top in bugis junction, and I just didnt want to spend again. Im currently liking 3/4 sleeve tops and when I saw the tee print was july's tour de france, I just had to buy it!
Tea at a chinese dessert shop off a bugis street, and off we went home.

Iluma arcade: riding on an arcade harley davidson. On sunday I'll post one more very similar one; same person different ride.

Poor guy, his moobs kena groped by some other horny classmates but from the look of it obviously he likes it LOL.

Yesterday

After school went to Jurong East library to kill some time before meeting Jesper n Ben for Dinner at Wendy's, the only one in singapore in Jurong Point. Since it has only one outlet, I thought Wendy's will offer some better and more exclusive fast food relative to BK or Carls Jnr. But after eating about 3/4 of it's 1/2 pound beef burger, I was wrong. The beef was dry and I felt 'ni' even before finishing it. Even Ben felt the same way. So i'll rank it BELOW MacDonalds. Burger King is THE benchmark for price and burger satisfaction, while Carls Jnr is pricey but all the same fantastic. Arcade after that, we played daytona and air hockey. Still, my arcade driving cant make it. Like I said, 'I excel only in the real thing.' Playing the mini kids air hockey next was really attention-seeking, but it was downright fun. And dangerous. Lionel will definitely make the puck fly and once it hit my fingers. Now its bruised.

Today

Picked up Jesper, vivk n vick before heading to an airforce talk at Depot Road. My primary purpose wasnt to get more info from the talk, but to get the freebies. Like what Lionel says, 'Just go take freebies, my father pays tax'. I was unaware of the refreshments, but it was an added bonus. After that, off to Vivo in 2 cars for light snack in the form of Secret Recipe. Until today, I didnt realise their cakes were sinfully yummy, and I for sure took malaysia's secret recepe for granted. (Think Ringgit).
Vivo was actually a pitstop/timekiller as it was still early for Buffalo Wings @ Sunset. As it neared 6, we were on our long way to Seletar Camp, or Sengkang or ulu place of Singapore. This sunset place is a real experience for me. One has to drive into small tarmac roads, past old eerie colonial buildings and airplane hangars and reach alongside the airport runway. Then by foot we have to make our way to the cafe. This place is supposedly popular for its Buffalo wings and you can pick ur level of spicyness, from Level 1 to Level 10. As 1st timers, the waiter recommended Level3 to 4, and we went with 4. This level caused us to..perspire. Alot. That was the rest and my case, because I'll perspire if I take spicy food. Then again, I sweat after even 5mins of walking. For lionel he almost started to tear up. But it wasnt spicy to the extent we had to call for the involvement of water. So, the next time we re-visit, we can up the level to 5, 6, 7, or 8! It was nightfall already as we made our way out of sunset, and because we were unfamiliar with the roads, we took a wrong turn. Hell it was scary man; Old colonial buildings at the side, huge hanging trees casting imposing shadows on unlit roads, and we had to reverse cos we reached a DEAD end.
Next stop of our food roadtrip was Jalan Kayu, barely a click away from Sunset. We had Indian food there. Indian rojak, prata and mee goreng. Surprisingly this is my 1st time eating Indian rojak and it was good! The bread thingy was awesome, lets just hope i dont get food posioning from it.

Saturday 8 May
Ben, Jesper, Lionel, Tharma(msian) and Vicknesh came across the border to City Square for a visit. The guys met at Kranji and was brought over by Tharma. I, having went home earlier in the morning, took the public bus there. We had lunch immediately, at Tang Tea House. After that we walked, eat, walk again, and eat again. For all of us guys, all we can do in a shopping centre is eat. No doubt City Square is the best JB has to offer, but it is a boring place. The time you come, someone has to drive.
Considering the circumstances and players involved, this is quite a historic outing. In class we always talk about going to places; Phuket, KL, JB, Tioman, and then someone will very realistically bring us back by saying 'lets see a trip to sentosa succeed 1st'. We were finally able to walk the talk, making the classroom talk into a reality. At least we proved Mok wrong. Yeah.

So lets hope this overseas trip is something like a jump-starter. Next plan is to rent a car and drive into JB. Any malaysia plans and im gonna make it happen.

A pity they had to leave at 5pm, otherwise we could have dinner at the nearby streetside hawkers. Mom and bro were also there seperately, and after the guys left, mother and 2 sons went to Jusco to celebrate Mother's Day at Kinsahiya. We treated her to her favourite 卧虎藏龙, which is as expensive as it sounds, 7 pieces of sushi for RM29.90. But nothing is too costly to commemorate a mother.
