We had lunch at food republic, the food there is expensive and after shopping around we zooted off to queensway, ikea and anchor point, where uncle bought both of us a billabong wetsuit or wet top to be more specific. Then on the way back, we popped by westmall. 3 shopping malls in an afternoon have definitely taken a toll on my legs. Even cycling isnt that bad with my legs. @ 1:13 AM
Merry Christmas to all! I brought my uncle, or ber-chek as we affectionately call him, to orchard road on christmas eve. it was packed like shit and it was raining. And shops were all starting to close or were already closed when it was ard 10pm++ Which was why we went home at 11pm. And not after the countdown as planned. It was too boring to carry on. When orchard road gets boring, it really IS boring. photoss outside tangs, still raining inside tangs, still raining. paragon's christmas tree heeren's not so glamarous celebration overcrowded and with many playing with the spray can. siamed as far as possible because my camera and speedlite is in direct fire! Day 2: queensway shopping centre? need to play host to our uncle and cousin from KL this whole week. Revision for week 1 tests?? im addicted to cycling=D Tuesday, December 23 @ 8:32 PM
And it ended up as our second hardest ride to date and we didnt even complete the entire journey. We stopped 6km short of pendas because we were afraid we couldnt make it. True enough, on the way back we had to climb this pair of hills and my brother ended up dismounting and pushing the bike up the hill. that's how much the ride cracked him! then shortly his tube punctured and i fixed it right on the spot. Yes, i FIXED it. Its my 2nd time repairing a punctured tire and im really getting a hang of doing it skillfully. Anyway we came into singapore today and had lunch at Street, a hongkong cafe @ IMM. Dinner at home. A more exciting day awaits us tomorrow. My grandma & uncle coming down to JB and then singapore tomorrow. This uncle of mine haven been to singapore for like over 20 years, hence the visit. We gona bring him to orchard road on christmas eve. Let him in on the sights and sounds and lights of christmas in orchard. Frankly i've never been to orchard on christmas eve too, so god knows what it have in store for us! @ 8:32 PM

That's about all we did. And visited almost everyone blood related who resided in and around KL. Took tons of photos with my new flash! so let the photos do the talking. Day1 No plans yet, so we slacked ard at home. Home here belongs to 5th uncle's family where there are 4 cousins too failed attempt by bryan's photo taking not failed but not really there neither Day2 vegetarian day for cousin's family so we followed suit as well. lunch and dinner at vegetarian restaurants. went to playground at night. played ice and fire, damn fun 3 of us wore green, color confusion + dark surroundings. ended when cousin fell on the slipperly grass i think. injury at both knees, nose, lips and cheek. poor thing. Day3 This is one of THE 2 days of the holiday. Lao Kor treated us to morning dimsum, followed by visit to xiaojiu and wujiu for lunch. last petaling street at night! the visit to wujiu's place will be a very fruitful one because he'll give us loads of stuff that he has no use of anymore. Branded watches, branded shoes, branded money clips.. the 3 oldest guys out of only 5 in the third generation After dimsum Group photo @ xiaojiu's place. his son is super smart and adorable wujiu's son, Ivan. playing his wii. We later played too, very interesting petaling street cum chinatown cum chi jong kai. land of the fake goods! dinner at this place. too pricey. after that we met up with wujiu and he brought us to shops he frequent so many times until he's more than a regular. because of him, we have 30% off anything we wanna buy, we bought a bag and wallet; both paul smith. That's the bag, mini cooper Tested the power of my flash 5th uncle came to fetch us back again (he dropped us off chinatown) and we went to meet him at a hawker stall that sells food on sticks that needs to be steamboated. 'Lok lok' they call it. Day4 this day is hardcore shopper's day. breakfast @ a downtown wet market and at 10am plus we're already at Lot10. still early, shops still closed, we went to pavilion 1st, and spend like 2 hours there. Its a supersize mall and its not really targeted for us kids. after that its sungei wang for half a day. crazy man. pizza for dinner. mahjong and vodka for the night. |
