Today is a day to remember, because I joined my very first cycling race! We had been wanting to join a race quite lately, to assess how much we've done and how much more needs be done. And by the looks of the results, ALOT needs to be done!
I finished in the last quarter of the about-40-man bunch, and my brother, lower down in the ranks. Well everyone has his first race and nobody wins his first race right? Im pretty sure i'll finish top half in the next race after learning loads of lesson from today's race.

The most important lesson I learnt today was: NEVER EVER let the peloton leave you in its wake. That happened right off the start of the race(with all the super fast malay guys) and for almost all the 7 6km laps i was riding alone. I had to do all the wind-breaking myself compared to doing it with 30 other riders.
Anyway the result wasnt important, but it was the experience that was crucial and i loved it.
Im kinda addicted to racing competitions now and there will be more to come!
