Finally Im back from China! Banning of social networking websites over china explains the stalement of this blog for 6 weeks. 6 weeks of industrial attachment in Yanliang, Xi'an had been more than enough fun for me. I've ate more than enough fried rice, inhaled enough bad air, and killed more than enough slow-moving houseflies.

Alright, to be more serious, this trip has been fantastic. On the studying POV, I learned alot alot of new things that cant be learned in school. The teachers in china are simply one of a kind. They teach and interact with students in a very caring, interesting and fun way that can never be found in the teachers here. Of course I've had tons of fun too. From cycling to corridor soccer to exploring places, we find our own fun.

Enough writing, I dont like to write something out of nothing. I need photos to complement my words.

Day 1

What better way to kickstart your china adventure with a maglev train ride with a top speed of 301kmh.

Why is it still so slow?

Day 2

Our 3 star(?) hotel by the name of Zhong Fei Da Hotel. Internet is unstable and hot water comes and goes like Liu Xiang. @ RMB150 a night, im not really complaining, am I?

Those are students, not soldiers, marching in the school. Long way to go before they reach the elite of chinese soldiers' marching.

This is the new school campus.

Eat the spice flower hidden well within and ur mouth experiences something bad

The 2 common medium to eat steamboat or any other food: shan xian and ma lak. The ma lak isnt that spicy, it just numbs your entire mouth and then your nose starts running at full throttle. That's all, it isnt that spicy. Go on, try it.

Eh eh, dont be shy my china friends.

Street-side stalls are the way to go in china, although they'll probably fail every other cleaniness grade test.

Day 3

Sheer ramen pulling strength
That's the museum tour guide who very soon became a galfriend of one of our student.

These are photos of the very first 3 days. In all, we spent 42 days in china. For every post, I'll blog about 2-3 days worth of stuff, depending on the number of photos.

So stay tuned for the next episode of My China Adventure.
