Sister attended school, and left us to go explore Leuven by our own. Due to it's smallness, in about 4 hours we roughly finished the whole of Leuven. We had the strength to walk for so long because we were in the hunt of the best fries in town. The Young Traveller's Map we had had fries markings ard the map, indicating Good fries places. But god knows why many were not open for business yet. And so, we walked from one fries marking from one part of town to another. And we finally found one, and later we learned frm jie that that was the one she had wanted to bring us there to try Belgian Fries. HA, determination paid off. Back at home, jie made fried rice for us. It's STILL ok, its STILL eatable, but I couldnt eat as much as I preferred because if i wanted, my stomach will have vehemently protested. =p After lunch, we went to Antwerp. Walk walk see see, walked thru its famous shopping belt(similar to Nanjing Lu, only smaller and more ex), walked alongside the seaport and after that got lost. Dinner was at Da Giovanni, an Italian pizzeria selling delicious, unsliced thin crust pizza. After that we got lost again, this time unable to find our way back to the train station. But this time I decided to take over the map, and we got back on track soo fast we didnt know we got lost at all. My geography is still good man. Czec Republic tmr! |
