Yesterday on the way back from Changi, we were talking about the world cup. We were talking about that night's game. Then we were talking about match betting. Next thing we know, we all placed $5 bets on a Japan victory, with returns of $3.65/dollar. And because of that, this match has become of much significance to us, so 10pm we ended up at a kopitiam near Kenny's place to catch it live.
Well we dint have to wait long, Japan scored in the 39th min. Boy, did we celebrate! We celebrated like we really meant it. Like as though we were die-hard blue samurai fans. Just that we dont share the same intention. Like what one gamble addict said, 'we support the team that can give us money.' So 1st match betted, 1st winnings. Way to go.
