For those who finished their boxes and had some free time..

I had a very satisfying day today on 2 accounts. First was my melody box and 2nd was the development in my napfa training.
First up, my melody box. Avionics module practical require us to build a music box with circuits, solderings and whatnot. Everything was going smoothly, until something cropped up today. My box wasnt completely dead -that would be bad - it was still singing, albeit very very softly. Then coincidentally my wires started falling off too, and at one point my box just churned out static music, or noise if u deem it otherwise.
Why do such problems have to come 2 days before deadline! I got soo emo, my friends say they've never seen me soo emo before, and ashraf went to the extent to say I look like I was going to cry. Well, obviously it wasnt that bad. I was just sooo discouraged, and then coupled with the mindset that SHIT HAPPENS sometimes, I just left the lab and went to wash my hands. Game over. Well, shit happens right?

Then while washing my hands, I thought, cmon! Im not someone who gives up soo easily man.. I wasnt even trying my best to correct the problems. I wasnt adhereing to my motto of 'at least I tried my best.' Next moment Jesper came up alongside me to wash his hands. So I asked him:

"eh do you think I should try again?"

"Of course you should! Dude, you know I spent one whole day yesterday fixing my screwed box."

So with clean hands I went back in and the rest is history. I changed the variable resistor(from the start I knew this was the source of problem but like I said I was just too disheartened and lazy) and voila! the volume was loud again. HELL YEA. At the point, the irritating kiddy melodies were the best music my ears have ever heard.

So basically I've learnt a life lesson today. Give your best shot and dont give up easily.
Next is my napfa training.
Today we had a napfa test simulation, doing the 5 static stations and the 2.4km run. With this training, I can now run faster and do more proper pullups. This means Im improving with this training. Always niceee to see that.
